Ivan Mihaljevic & Side Effects - Counterclockwise

The Croatian eclectic rock trio, Ivan Mihaljevic and Side Effects album Counter Clockwise has a unique and dynamic sound that is soulful and wise but maintains a youthful spunk and vigor reminiscent of traditional progressive rock bands.  It combines the timeless message of self-discovery and realization.

Ivan Mihaljevic  demonstrates his expertise as a producer, vocalist, and virtuoso guitarist.

It is evident he is not afraid to experiment with diverse genres of music.

The Side Effects with Majkl Jagunic on bass and Alen Frljak on drums makes Counter Clockwise a full fledge hit for progressive and eclectic rock listeners. The bridge allows the bass to take center stage, which creates a mixture of sounds associated with blues, jazz, and folk music.  The drums provide the perfect accent and flavor to the album.

Counter Clockwise is reminiscent of blue grass, folk, and old school rock music with a new age flare.
The lyrics on this album have an old world tone and a futuristic view.
It documents socially malignant attitudes persistent in today’s society, and the journey of personal introspection.

Ivan Mihaljevic and Side Effects offer an alternative sound that is sure to capture the hearts and ears of longtime progressive rock listeners and those new to the genre as well.
Counter Clockwise is a sure fire hit and offers something for all music lovers.
